  An unvaccinated young adult from New York recently contracted polio, the first US case in nearly a decade, health officials said Thursday.   Officials said the patient, who lives in Rockland County, had developed paralysis.   Victoria Beckham will join the official line-up of Paris Fashion Week with a live runway show this autumn, the organisers announced on Wednesday.   The British designer and former Spice Girl has previously presented in London and New York, though she has not staged a live runway show since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. She will present her new luxury collection during the spring 2023 women's ready-to-wear shows, which run between September 26 and October 4.   The pandemic has not fundamentally altered the longterm growth outlook for commercial aviation, with an 82 percent increase in jets seen through 2041, according to a Boeing forecast released Saturday. The company projected a total global fleet of 47,080 over the next two decades, compared with 25,900 in 2019, with half of deliveries replacing jets that will be retired, Boeing said in its annual commercial market outlook. The forecast comes a few days after a similar outlook from archrival Airbus and ahead of the big Farnborough airshow. That's a bit below the 49,405-jet fleet in Boeing's prior long-term outlook, reflecting a slight trim to the company's global annual GDP growth forecast to 2.6 percent. Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC) is going to start a special bus service for tourists who want to see Padma Bridge. A tourist who wants to visit the 6.15-kilometre bridge, the largest bridge in Bangladesh, will have to pay Tk 999. BCCI boss Sourav Ganguly has said that the upcoming Asia Cup has been moved from Sri Lanka to the UAE. The Asia Cup was set to be played is August-September this year. "Asia Cup will be in UAE, as it is the only place where there won't be rains," PTI quoted Ganguly as having told reporters after an Apex council meeting in Mumbai. The report also said that SLC had informed the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) that they were not in a position to host the tournament due to existing political and economic situation in their country. The SLC had already postponed the third edition of the Lankan Premier League (LPL) due to the crisis.
